Mr. Morgan holds the MAI, SRA and AI-GRS designations awarded by the Appraisal Institute. He remains current on and involved in the appraisal and related industries on a local and state level.
Mr. Morgan currently serves on the NC Appraisal Board.
Mr. Morgan previously served on the NC Property Tax Commission from 2013 to 2017.
JC Morgan was founded by Jack Morgan, Jr., MAI, in 1980. Mr. Morgan was active in the NC Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and the Carolina’s Chapter of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), having held the office of president in both organizations.
Cal Morgan holds the Appraisal Institute’s MAI, SRA & AI-GRS designations. He is a NC licensed real estate broker and general contractor. Jack Morgan Jr holds the Appraisal Institutes MAI designation. Both maintain general appraisal certifications for North & South Carolina.
At JC Morgan, we pride ourselves on staying current with the latest valuation trends and techniques. All of our appraisers pursue the most current and relevant education offered by the Appraisal Institute, International Right of Way Association (IRWA), CCIM Institute, Urban Land Institute (ULI), Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Association of Realtors and other leading real estate and appraisal organizations.
Our firm has over 80 years of combined experience of real estate appraisal, review and consulting services. We have provided our services for financing, eminent domain, property tax appeals, litigation support and other purposes, as required. Our clients have continued to use our services over the years, as it is our goal to provide each with the most competent valuation services possible.
Our appraisers have served on numerous Boards and Commissions including the NC Property Tax Commission, Boards of Zoning Adjustment, Boards of Equalization & Review, the NC Appraisal Institute and others.
